Guruji and GuruAmma in front of Devipuram

Thank you for all that you do and have made available to each of us seekers.

I had a question and would deeply appreciate your advice. I was reading through the starter regime and would love to have a little more clarification on the pronunciation of bija mantras.

I see that in the starter regime the mantras are pronounced as ending in 'm'; however there seems be a lot of mixed information online with some suggesting that the bija mantras should be pronounced nasally, neither ending in m nor ng but somewhat like maa (with the chandrabindu at the top). I have also noticed older texts where the chakra bija mantras have chandrabindu instead of anusvar at the top.

I did not have Sanskrit at school and this has me really confused. Would deeply appreciate any information on how to go about this correctly! And if you have additional resources on correct pronunciation you could guide me to.

Thanks a lot.

Swami Amrita has Youtube and Soundcloud offerings which show his choice in his voice.

Thank you so much for your response. I did check the sound cloud and am wondering if there is any explanation for having chosen 'm' instead of the chandra bindu nasal sound. Please do share if you have any link/resource for that. Thank you!
