Need guidance. Please help.

Hello dear friends, I have some questions about recitation of khadgamala stotra. I read in a post that Guruji asked to visualise the deities on the proper mantras. But I cannot visualise properly, on the contrary it becomes stressful to visualise. But I really want to chant KS. So:-

Can I chant without initiation?
What are the niyamas? (Eg:- time, space, clothes, food, celibacy etc.)
Is it ok if I cannot visualise?

Any guidance/help will be of importance for me.

Hello.

Hi you can chant devi khadgamala without requiring initiation. devi resides within us all. secondly guru ji has visualised the devis of khadgamala. there’s a youtube video as well as these there is a website with the photos of these devis. you can start slow and just look at each devi at a time and see and recognise them. become familiar with them. lastly you can still chant if you cannot visualise. we can’t all expect to be at 100% at the start. we all start somewhere so it’s fine to build up the confidence. in terms of clothes and dressing sense. i’d you want you can wear red but i think all of that is optional. your heart has to be clean first. intentions do matter so you can practice celibacy in order to retain that energy inside you and build up that ojas to help with meditation and to allow yourself to move to higher chakras in the body. hope this helps. shree matre namah
