190. Durgā

Durgā, the famous Goddess protecting human prosperity and intelligence, is the virgin form of Devi. Mary of Christianity, of Mariyamma of the Hindus - is the same virgin aspect. The word Mari means the Killer. Misery is the object of destruction.
