Guruji and GuruAmma in front of Devipuram

The Lalitā Triśatī Stotra comprises 59 verses containing 300 names of the goddess Lalitā Tripurasundarī. They are arranged in 15 consecutive sets of 20, with 15 being the number of syllables in the Pañcadaśāksarī mantra of this goddess, also known as the Kādividyā ‘the Vidyā that begins with syllable Ka’. For each syllable there are 20 epithets that begin with that syllable.

This stotra was composed by the Goddess Lalitā together with Her consort Kāmeśvara and was transmitted at Her command by Hayagrīva, to his student, the sage Agastya.

The Vidyā will not bestow success (Siddhi) on those who practise its repetition without knowing this classification [of its sounds], even if they persist for countless aeons.

Per Guru Amma, you don't have to have diksha to listen or chant trishati.
