in lalitopakhyanam of brahmanda purana a deity known as Sri Mahasasta is mentioned thrice: his birth is mentioned in the chapter 10 verse 75, then in chapter 14 verse 8 where it lists the deities who saw lalita and finally in chapter 39 verse 57 where deities in Kanchi are listed. If anyone knows where I can find references to this Mahasasta in any other texts (I don’t have initiation).
