Rakesh
Just for the record, I am writing them here too for the future aspirants. Here is what I understood per Guruji's teachings and shastras -
Guruji liked it when his disciples ate good food during Navratri instead of fasting, but do as you will, whatever makes one happy.
Guruji always wanted us to be happy and serve others. Maybe this niyama can be taken by us to keep ourselves in tune with Guruji.
Reading his words/teachings also helps a lot, that is yet another important niyama (svadhyaya) for progress.
Read Guruji's teachings and see which of the following classical yama and niyamas apply:
Yamas (Restraints):
Ahimsa (Non-violence): Avoiding harm to oneself and others in thought, word, and deed.
Satya (Truthfulness): Being truthful and honest in one's interactions and thoughts.
Asteya (Non-stealing): Not taking what is not freely given.
Brahmacharya (Non-excess): Moderation in all things, including sensuality.
Aparigraha (Non-possessiveness): Letting go of attachment to material possessions and desires.
Niyamas (Observances):
Saucha (Cleanliness): Maintaining physical, mental, and emotional purity.
Santosha (Contentment): Finding satisfaction and joy in the present moment.
Tapas (Self-discipline): Practicing self-control and discipline to purify oneself.
Swadhyaya (Self-study): Studying spiritual texts and reflecting on one's own thoughts and actions.
Ishwar Pranidhana (Surrender): Letting go of ego and surrendering to a higher power or purpose.
Guruji always said, do as you will. So, try to modify them per your lifestyle and Guruji's teachings. Jai Maa. Jai Guru
