Guruji and Ammaji are the guru of Devipuram. As you will see, their paduka are white for guru on right top of head, for Siva, and red for Ammaji on left side of head, for Shakti. This is balance and samavita of Siva and Shakti. This is a very important point of Sri Vidya. The two, Siva and Shakti lean against each other are are then complete.
To understand this point will complete, balance, and bring wisdom to any relationship. Neither side abuses or dominates the other. They are a wholeness. If you have problems with that image then consider Ardhaniswari as Upaguru.
But it's not theoretical. As practice develops ones balance of Siva and Shakti balance and this brings a joy inside that cannot be had when merely one sexuality is worshipped. Tantra is psychology, not religion.
You might also consider this a union of right and left brain. all the better for integrated thought. Whereas some are bound by just one dominant brain side..
There's contraception. Also there's the fact of a child if none is used. If no contraception is used then one must presume that the child was going to happen, and treat that baby well. Two adults have no excuse to be stupid and think they will not have a child if no contraception is used. Responsibility falls equally on both parents. No exceptions.
If you don't care about the outcome of sex, then ipso facto you do not care about your partner, in which case you should stick to masturbation. Besides, you can probably get yourself off better with your own digits than any other human.
Respect yourself, respect life, and respect the Devi.
