Guruji and GuruAmma in front of Devipuram

In the book Aghora 2: Kundalini by Robert Svoboda, the great Aghori Vimalananda discusses the true gayatri mantra which was taught to him by Jatala Sadhu (who has met Amritananda Saraswati).

Vimalananda ji explains the power of this true gayatri mantra which he said was chanted by rishis and stated that the commonly chanted Gayatri mantra is actually the savitri. Has Amritananda Saraswati ever shared the true Gayatri mantra in his discourses or books? Could any sadhaks here throw some light on this mantra, where it can be found and how to practice it?

It's hard to pinpoint exactly what is referred to as the "True Gāyatrī" since there are many variations. Guruji in the book "Gifts from the Goddess" did mention a four-legged Gāyatrī with "parorajase savadom" as the final part, and also discussed the Ajapā Gāyatrī, which is a deeper, internalized form of the Gāyatrī Mantra.

However, his teachings primarily revolved around the Śrīvidyā or Tantric version of Gāyatrī which is the Pañcadaśī mantra, and he didn't go into the specifics of chanting Gāyatrī. If you are interested in this topic, connecting with a Vedic guru would be advisable.
