[Śrī Cakrā is the genetic code of the Cosmos, the individual and micro cosmos. Sri Cakra is the abode of the cosmic awareness. It is a symbol all of creation, including its unitive (subjective) and diverse (objective) aspects. The Śrī Cakrā symbolizes reality. The center point is reality, and so are the outer enclosures, and so is the path. Words and sentences are auditory forms informing us about creation, maintenance and dissolution. Similarly, a highly coded visual geometrical structure exists. it is called a Sri Cakra (the circle of grace). Meditation on it has revealed many truths to seers; it is itself revealed in meditation. The seer is always one. The seen are many].- Extract from the " A Jewel from my Mother's Crown by Guruji Sri La Sri Amirtananda.

Guruji, Sri La Sri Amirthananda Natha Saraswathi, in his unconditional love and quest to educate all, dedicated his career to broadcast the knowledge he perceives from his mentor, Saraswathi. This book, A Jewel from my Mother’s Crown is a consolidation of some of his teachings that leaves a blazing new trail, sure to land in the history books, on the intricate meanings and understanding the Śrī Cakrā and its rituals.]
It was in the year 1988, Guruji was visiting the USA and was drowned in the thought enabling a regular household person to perform the Śrī Cakrā pūjā a daily puja; given the content of this ritual it is not easy to condense it to a short puja. Śrī Cakrā pūjā , until recent times, was very ardently restricted to select group and inferred by others as mystical esoteric techniques prohibited to be practiced by the “unprivileged”. As we all know Guruji is a humble and gentle person whose only objectives are to love, teach and provide social services to empower and improve on the quality of life for the less fortunate. His universal maternal instincts and unconditional love has no barriers of gender, race, caste or religion; all are the Mother’s children to be embraced and taught the elimination of “I” versus “You”.
Guruji in his thirst to provide insight and basic techniques to the world, without reservation, authored a book Śrī Cakrā pūjā Vidhi book. In the current environment, Kali Yuga, it is not feasible for anyone to perform the Śrī Cakrā pūjā in a limited amount of time. With the guidance of his mentor, Saraswathi, Guruji orchestrated the gateway to do the Śrī Cakrā pūjā in 75 minutes while not compromising any of the benefits to be realized in performing this puja and conforming to the guidelines as per the Parasurama Kalpa Sutra. The inspired devotees covetously grasped for this book and made these rituals part of their lives which complimented to serve their dual goals of learning the Mother worship rituals while continuing with their day-to-day duties demanded in this Kali Yuga. The new era was born. This book had a blue hardcover and is very dearly referred to as the "BLUE BOOK" by his disciples.
Guruji continued diligently to provide more detailed input via different media to expand on the teachings on the Śrī Cakrā pūjā rituals. Nothing was taken for granted. Every day more and more information came from Guruji. Many were recorded in documents or as audio. Guruji mined the hidden treasures from the scriptures, exposing to the world the hidden rituals, the explicit multi-fold meanings, articulating his experiences and knowledge acquired through his meditation and interactions with the Mother, continuously broadcasting either by discourses or via various media using all means available to him from the new emerging technology; all his efforts tracked elegantly to opening the flood gates to “Understanding the Śrī Cakrā pūjā”.
The year 2013 was the silver jubilee of the “BLUE BOOK”.
One of Guruji's disciples, who has been meticulously practicing from the “BLUE BOOK” was speaking to Guruji on the eve of the Silver jubilee and thanked him for this invaluable golden book. Guruji requested a sequel to the “BLUE BOOK” be published. It was a pleasant surprise. His request was to provide a comprehensive view and thorough understanding of the Śrī Cakrā pūjā. For the disciple, as challenging it might be, consolidating Guruji’s works was seen as a privilege and indubitably rewarding. Many disciples were contacted to collect material from Guruji’s discourses. Many of Guruji’s writings were reviewed and the subject matter materials were collated and numerous communications with Guruji from the draft stage to the completion of the book. When it was decided to release it for publication the new book had gone through 252 revisions / versions! This new release was titled as “A JEWEL FROM MY MOTHER’S CROWN” and was to contend for the grand finale at the inauguration of Guruji’s Satha Abhishekam planned for December 2014.
(The Satha Abhishekam is the commemoration witnessing of one thousand pournamis, full moons, in this birth and also a very special day for all Guruji's chelas (disciples) to get the chance to be with their Guru on this occasion celebrating this occurrence and receive the divine grace).
Overall this book was to provide extensive and authentic explanations at every step of the ritual to help the reader understand the functionality and the entailing effects of these rituals. It is not the execution of a puja in a mundane manner but the translations and explanations that would render the devotee realize and rejoice in the true meaning of undivided unity with the Divine and the cosmos; guide the devotee on the technique of integration of the Mantra, Yantra and Tantra to experience the Divine in themselves and understand the Śrī Cakrā, as a symbolic representation, to the gateway of the microcosm of the atoms, an individual and the cosmos. The correct Sanskrit diacritical’s were included to render the exact pronunciation of letter and word. Diagrams and pictures were embedded to effect subtle illustrations to the respective subject matter. The devotees would enhance the power of visualization. These rituals in the subject of Śrī Vidyā are intensely sublime and rewarding, leads to a direct experience of yourself as a wave of beauty, bliss arising from the ocean of pure consciousness in you, experience you and your body as a living shrine and the chakras as altars in that shrine.
This book would become a priceless encyclopedia on Śrī Cakrā pūjā in every home.
